Alec heads up the Marketing function within SL, having the primary focus of maximising global investor awareness of the qualities of UK TEPs, US Life Settlements and SL's range of services. Alec also leads the Traded Endowment Policy (TEP) function at SL, working with clients on the management of existing TEP funds, and the development of new TEP product and associated services.

Alec joined SL in 1996, establishing a specialist TEP Valuation Team within a rapidly growing organisation. Alec became SL's Head of TEPs in 2007, and over the years he has overseen the negotiation and trading of over £1Bn of UK Traded Endowment Policy assets. Alec is well known and respected within the UK TEP market and has developed exceptional working relatonships with a number of financial institutions and service providers operating within the market place.

In 1990, Alec qualified as a Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering from Bristol University and subsequently achieved a Masters in Artificial Intelligence. He is currently the Chair of the European Life Settlement Association (ELSA), and has previously held co-chair of the BVZL UK TEP division, a Munich based global Traded Life organisation estabilshed in 2004.

In his free time Alec is a keen swimmer, successfully completing 5 Km swims in 2013, 2015 and 2016 in support of Marie Curie Cancer Care. He has recently taken up open water swimming, completing the Great Manchester Swim in Salford Quays in 2014.
